Overview

 

The Toulouse 3 University Master 2 in International Management of Air Transport and Tourism is a unique master's course in France (5-year degree in the French higher education system) because of its international environment and dual major in management of air transport and tourism. It is part of a strong request from experts in the air transport field. The growth in tourism and air transport, the wide range of destinations and the growing demand require more and more highly qualified reactive professionals so as to keep up with the market trends.

 

In September 2011, MITAT was ranked A (excellent) by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research

 

Training in contact with professional environment

 

All the classes are in English and given by international experts in the field of tourism and air transport. Besides, a number of visits to Toulouse-Blagnac International Airport, the International Tourism Trade fair in Madrid, Airbus Group and many other companies are organised for the students.

Objectives

 

This course aims to provide students with advanced knowledge in tourism and air transport management. After graduating, students can:

  • Work in multicultural teams
  • Deal with issues related to tourism and air transport management
  • Keep up with the trend and the development of the market

 

Admission Requirements

 

Access to MITAT Master 2 degree is highly competitive with a lot of applications for only 24 places annually. The pre-requisites are:

ü  Master 1’s or equivalent degree.

ü  A good level in English: The minimum level is B2 in the European reference grid for languages. French proficiency is not compulsory as the course is in English.

ü  Previous professional and cultural experience.

Application procedure: a 3-step process on the UPS website:

  1. Applicants must fill in the online application form on the website of UPS and send UPS staff all the documents required and any other documents which they might consider relevant.
  2. A shortlist is compiled based on the applicants’ scores in their Master 1, previous professional and cultural experience, CV, cover letter, level in English.
  3. All candidates receive an answer by email and/or a notification on Paul Sabatier University Website, by mid-July. Shortlisted candidates have 8 days to provide a definitive answer. The official final results of the final selection will be on the university website from mid-July on.


Application for the academic year 2016-2017 starts on the 13th of March 2016!
