Paul Sabatier University (Université Paul Sabatier)

Paul Sabatier University (Université Paul Sabatier, UPS, also known as Toulouse III University) is a university situated in Toulouse, in the Southwest of France.

Founded in 1229, the University of Paul Sabatier is one of the oldest in Europe and was named after Paul Sabatier, who was the winner of the 1912 Nobel prize in chemistry. The University of Paul Sabatier (UPS) is an educational leader in the Midi-Pyrénées region, offering a broad range of programs in science, management, languages, technology, health, and sport.

In December 2013, the French Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research ranked the University of Paul Sabatier the first university in France for achieving employment outcomes for students.

Paul Sabatier Library (Bibliothèque Paul Sabatier  )

The Common Documentation Service is responsible for implementing the Documentary policy of the Paul Sabatier University. Its main objective is to ensure access to the documentation required by the teaching and research in the fields covered by the university. The Toulouse university libraries are networked. The registration in one of them allows you to borrow the documentation in other libraries of Archipel network.

The card Pastel Tisséo   

It is an electronic transport card which allows you to buy, stock and use the public transport tickets. The cost of the electronic card is 8 € There are many types of discount tickets, for example: 10 €/ month for young people (4-25 years old) and for students younger than 35 years old. All prices reflect 2014 charges.

School and university public administrative organisations are responsible for welcoming international students, assisting with student housing, university dining and cultural student life.

CAF - Family allowances fund

Family allowances are available to support families in their daily lives. The Family division is a network managed by the National Fund of Family Allowances. There are 102 Family allowances funds in France. These funds support legal benefits and develop a family social work on their territories.
